Our Mission
“Helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ”
We are a family friendly, non-denominational church with Christ at the center. Our beliefs reside in Him, and the Bible as we welcome everyone through our doors. At Faith Community Church, you will find people of all ages engaging in conversation and worship together through our programs and services.
The Good News
No matter where you are in your journey with Christ, know God and be ready for heaven:
- Admit you are a sinner. There is no one righteous, not even one…, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:10, 23 (See Romans 5:8; 6:23)
- Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13 ( See Acts 3:19)
- Believe in Jesus. Put your trust in Him as your only hope of salvation. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (See John 14:6)
- Become a child of God by receiving Christ. “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12 (See Revelation 3:20)
- Confess that Jesus is your Lord. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 (See verse 10)

Our Core Values & Beliefs
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and the authoritative Word of God. It has 66 books and is our authoritative rule of faith and conduct. It is the revelation of God to humanity. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
We believe in one God who exists and reveals Himself in three persons called the Trinity. God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14; John 14:16-17).
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was raised from the dead and is at the right hand of the Father as true God and true man. (Matt. 1:18-25; Romans 9:5; Hebrews 12:2).
We further believe in His:
- Virgin birth (Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31,35)
- Sinless life (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22)
- His miracles (Acts 2:22, 10:38)
- Substitutionary work on the cross (1 Cor. 15:3; 2 Cor. 5:21)
- His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Cor. 15:4)
- His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9, 11, 2:33; Phil. 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3)
We believe God created out of nothing the heavens and earth in six literal days and rested on the seventh day. Furthermore, we believe God created Adam and Eve through which all of humanity is related. (Gen. 1:1-2:3, 2:18-23).
We believe that all of humanity was created in the image of God but fell from that relationship with God through voluntary, willful disobedience. It is only through accepting Jesus Christ’s substitutionary sacrifice of His shed blood and death on the cross that we can be forgiven and restored to fellowship with God. We further believe that God’s salvation cannot be earned nor is it merited in any way, but is received by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23, 6:23; Eph. 1:7, 2:8-9).
We believe at the point of salvation the Holy Spirit fills each believer and is a source of strength, assurance, and wisdom. (John 3:6-7, 6:63). We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to believers and are to be used to glorify God. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8, 2:1-4, 38-39; 1 Cor. 2:9-14, 12:1-12; John 16:13-14).
We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning, and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen. 2:24; Eph. 5:31). God designed and commands sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. God also commands that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of marriage. (Lev. 18:22-23; Rom. 1:24-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-11, 6:18-20, 7:1-2; Heb. 13:4).
We believe the church is comprised of all those who acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Savior, and that Scripture instructs believers to regularly assemble themselves with other believers for times of worship, prayer, instruction of the Bible, fellowship, and works of service. (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25).
We believe in the personal and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ, resulting in the bodily resurrection of the just into the everlasting joy of the saved, and of the unjust into the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:13-17; 2 Cor. 5:10; Rev. 20:4-6, 11:15).
The resurrection of those who have died in Christ will be translated together with those who are alive to be together with the Lord forever. We believe the rapture of the church is imminent. (1 Thess. 4:16-17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Cor. 15:51-52).
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the church which is our blessed hope, and followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand (1,000) years. (Zech. 14:5; Matt. 24:27, 30; Rev. 1:7, 19:11-14, 20:1-6).
